How It All Started
It all started with me craving for Popeyes mashed potatoes, followed by my constant whining, so we decided to meet for “Popeyes” today teeheehee. Our initial plan was to go to Popeyes as I’ve been having the craves for their mashed potatoes since forever (actually only one day but whatever, it felt like forever hahaha) & since there’s Popeyes at the Singapore Flyer, we decided to go to the Flyer. Okay I might add that we had background information about the boys going to the flyer today but that’s besides the point heh heh. x: Upon reaching there, our main target is of course: POPEYES. So we were walking towards Popeyes when we saw some girls whom we suspected were FT fangirls crowding around the pick-up area… But we carried on walking because we could see Popeyes already teeheehee. Then somehow, we saw the ticket counters for flyer rides & we kind of got tempted. So we were discussing how cool it would be if we were to go on the flyer since we’d never gone on the flyer before hahaha. Because we were totally unaware of the huge posters that said Student Promotion: $10 Per Ticket, we asked about the ticket price, thought hmmm why not & we bought our tickets. Hohoho. 8D
How FT Island Came Into The Picture
So we planned to carry on with our Popeyes plan before going on the flyer, until we saw some strange-looking security guards together with more (fan)girls (by this time it was a bigger group of them) outside Popeyes, near the pick-up area. Then we saw a van pulling in (which we later found out was where the boys were in). Then we had no idea what happened but we heard lots of screaming (FT fangirls are actually pretty scary, even though they were in a small group they were still so high-pitchy noisy omg I guess it’s the age gap… hahahahaha) & decided to board the flyer at that time so we went up to the entrance of the flyer. On the way up, we saw them ♥ (we first spotted Seunghyun’s pama HAIR LOL) going to the VIP lounge, with their entourage plus their tiny minions swarming them, of course. Hur hur. By the way, this was my first time seeing them in real life, after two long years of fangirling over them, haha. If you haven’t realized, you’re reading the account of a poor Primadonna. {:
Anyway, we went on the flyer, a couple of capsules away from the boys, got ourselves a pretty good view (of them & also of Singapore rofl) but not too many good shots were taken because my hands were rather shaky (NOT because I was so afraid of heights I was trembling kay ahem) & I didn’t bring a tripod. D: By the way, we totally ditched our Popeyes for the boys. Things I’d do for my favourite chicken drummer boy… ( Inserts long sigh here. ) We had our post mortem at Popeyes though so it wasn’t exactly a full sacrifice hahaha. x:

They practically spent the entire ride playing with each other please. Alright maybe not all of them, because we could only noticeably spot Hongjin (Hongki + Jaejin) who were like wrestling with each other one minute, & cuddling each other another minute. Ultra adorable please! Even though at that point of time we were like “OMG WTF are they trying to do!?” Such dorks, I guess they forgot that the whole world could see them heh heh heh. 8D Jonghun was always walking around the capsule. Seunghwan were blocked by their management hur hur hur. -.-

After the ride they were brought to the VIP lounge, where they were munching away on their snacks. Hongki appeared to be pms-ing & he’s so unglamourous when he’s eating he totally scared SS off LOL. Anyway this was the time we could see them up-close, & what can I say, these boys are gorgeous. (: Minhwan. Is. Beautiful. Period. ♥

I realized I didn’t capture any good shots of Minhwan, but it’s alright, I’ve captured him on my mind & for he’ll always be in my heart… Hahahahaha okay wtf.
To be honest, I’m really glad I didn’t go to the airport to fetch them last night (I wanted to initially because I was craving for Popeyes Mashed Potatoes like asdfghjkl mad the entire day yesterday, & I thought I would go down to the airport in the evening hoping to get a glimpse of the boys & seize the opportunity to satisfy my craving as well since there are two Popeyes at the airport), because after hearing from my friends who went… I would be damn disappointed? Or maybe even pissed off. I mean they were supposed to arrive at 0920pm, but people (read: annoying noisy little fangirls) were already waiting there by 5pm, the insane number of people there which also means I’d have to wrestle with all those annoying noisy little fangirls, their flight got delayed for about an hour, upon arrival they were wearing masks due to H1N1 virus (I thought this one was amusing, imagine waiting for hours just to see them, & when they finally showed up they were all covered up & hiding behind masks & beanie & shades hahahahahahaha) & they totally zoomed past for like five seconds. ROFL yay. :B
Singapore Fly(-to-the-sky)-er
Generally, the flyer ride was alright. Before going on the ride, I kept wondering why would anyone spend thirty bucks on a freaking ferris wheel only to scare yourselves due to the height or make yourselves feel nauseous & risk being stuck up there with people’s vomit or something (because I didn’t know it would be moving so s l o w l y that you wouldn’t even feel the motion) & after the ride, I’m still wondering why would anyone spend thirty bucks on a freaking ferris wheel that didn’t even last an hour, hahaha. It felt like being on a really high building, it didn’t have that special woo hoo flyer feel like how I expected prior to the ride (hahaha I sounded so stupid but whatever) but the view was pretty awesome! One thing about Singapore is that being a city of bricks, up there from the capsule, all you see are really buildings after buildings everywhere, unless you look out to the other side, where you can see the IR, under construction which I think is super unsightly by the way, Marina Barrage & the sea. I thought ten bucks was alright, though I don’t think I’d go again, but it was a cool experience hahaha. Now I can proudly say that, I’M NO LONGER A SINGAPORE FLYER VIRGIN! :D
Yes I feel extremely thankful to have a superb stalking partner, thank you for sharing the moment with me. Even though we didn’t even mean to stalk, it’s just that they happened to be there when we were there too LOL. We were merely complaining about FT Island’s management to each other the night before & halfway through I was whining about how much I really really really wanted to eat Popeyes so I was asking her to accompany me today. So yes thanks to that, we hopped onto the same wheel as the boys & we got to see them do kinky stuff live in action ROFL. :3 Which means we were indirectly spending half an hour together at the top of the world, breathing the same oxygen, sharing the same panoramic views of Singapore hahahahaha. 8D Today, Rai is a happy girl because she lost her singapore flyer virginity with her favourite chicken drummer boy & friends & satisfied her craving for Popeyes mashed potatoes. MLIG! :D
